Ok- because I feel I ought to be fair and balanced (and, unlike fox, feel i ought to make some effort to actually understand that phrase) when it comes to the issues I speak of in my mass emails, Ive decided to post a couple articles that pertain to the issue of net neutrality that I asked you to support.
First, there are the original links I sent to Save the Internet and Move On, who obviously both, like me, endorse net neutrality.
Then there is George Ou, who falls somewhat to the right. In this mornings ZDNet blog, he debates the issue with respect to business and ideology in his article, Net Neutrality and Politics Don't Mix. His opinion is interesting, seemingly educated, and somewhat oppositional to the stance of more leftist organizations (though Ou does make the mistake of calling former FCC chairman, whose name is Michael Powell [as in Colin's son], Michael Power, which I found disconcerting).
All the way to the right is Matt S (i am always suspect of someone who doesn't disclose their full name), who weighs in on the issue on his frequently updated blog, The Only Republican in San Francisco.
Though both Ou and S. make some valid points, I am still a supporter of net neutrality if there is any question as to where I stand after writing all this.
So there you have it: a little morning reading, a little food for thought, and a little further nudge to ask you to take an interest, get involved, and make up your own mind.
