i have a terrible memory. when people ask me to go through my life chronologically, i have little to no concept of years or dates, but ask me what i was listening to at the time and i'll probably be able to recite every lyric.
music is how i remember things: good things, and not so good things.
so i heard about this website, Ruined Music.
it's a bunch of stories about songs people have lost to bad relationships and associations (for example, i can't really hear blind melon- yup, blind melon- without having awkward, teenage flashbacks). its kind of fun; worth a five minute perusal.
