Once upon a time, in the beautiful land of Santa Barbara, a Boy and Girl met and fell in love. A summer wedding was planned, people were invited, a Chef just turned Caterer was hired, and then the Girl woke up. Acknowledging that her life was not a fairytale, she booked the next flight to reality and landed in New York six hours later.
The Girl and the Caterer kept in touch over the next 3 ½ years, as both continued to flourish in their respective lives. With occasional emails, they detailed their personal and professional progress. Recipes were exchanged, as were notes about the Caterers' growing girls and the Girl's growing ambitions. Life was good for them.
The Girl and the Caterer got blogs, where the kinds of tidbits they once exchanged with each other were posted for all to see.
