i was scanning through a bullet point list of headlines this morning and was struck by these two, one following directly after the other: AFRICAN BABIES 'DYING AT BIRTH' and SONY REVEALS PLAYSTATION 3 PRICES. i don't think i need to express my opinion here about the juxtaposition of these two pieces. suffice it to say that these two sentences (fragments, if we want to get technical) spoken in the same breath is... what's the word?
ah yes-
disturbing.
